Construction cranes are important lifting equipment widely used in various engineering constructions. Wheel cranes are the main products of construction cranes. They are general-purpose cranes with a wide range of uses and great practicality in operation. Wheel cranes are divided into truck cranes and tire cranes.
A crane mounted on a general chassis or a special chassis is called a truck crane. Truck cranes have the performance of automobile driving, are flexible and maneuverable, have high driving speed, can be transferred to the site by express delivery, and can be quickly put into work after being transferred to the work site. Therefore, they are particularly used in places with high mobility and non-fixed action sites.
The crane adopts a telescopic boom main arm and can also be equipped with a folding jib at the same time. Extra-large cranes can also be equipped with an extra-long jib according to user needs to further expand the scope of use of the product.
The transmission of the crane adopts a hydraulic = mechanical transmission method (referred to as hydraulic transmission), which has the advantages of large transmission ratio, stable transmission, and labor-saving operation.

Pick-up device
The picking device of the truck crane is mainly a hook (grab buckets and other auxiliary working picking devices).

Boom
A steel structure used to support the lifting wire rope and pulley block. It can be tilted and extended to change the working radius (amplitude). It is directly installed on the upper turntable. The boom can be extended on the basis of the disease arm. If necessary, a rod can be installed on the top of the boom to expand the working range. This rod is called a jib.

The upper car slewing part
It is the part that can be slewed during the lifting operation. It includes all the mechanisms and devices installed on the slewing platform (turntable) except the boom, counterweight, and hook.

The lower part (chassis)
it is the foundation of the crane.

Slewing bearing part
It is installed on the lower chassis to support the upper vehicle’s slewing part. It includes all the rotating, rolling and stationary parts of the slewing bearing device.

Outriggers
In order to ensure its safety during lifting operations and maximize its lifting capacity, the truck crane is equipped with outriggers on the frame. When working, the outriggers extend outward to support the ground and can lift the entire crane tire off the ground.

Counterweight
A balance block of a certain required weight is hung at the tail of the crane platform to ensure the stability of the crane.
